Assisting with the erection
and dedication ceremonies of a plaque honoring HBW at the Barbara
Worth Country Club near Meloland, where the author wrote three of
his books. The plaque was erected by the Native Sons of the Golden

Researching, editing and
publishing an enlarged and comprehensive edition of the authors
most popular book, The Winning of Barbara Worth.
Working with the Imperial
County Historical Society in establishing a Harold Bell Wright Gallery
at the PioneersMuseum in Imperial, Ca. The Burkes are curators
of the exhibit, which contains an exhibit of all the authors
books and pictures and memorabilia of many aspects of his life.

Establishing and continuing
a relationship with the Wright Family, which involved the transfer
by the late Norman Wright (youngest son of the author) of many of
his late fathers effects to the Gallery, and the placement
of the original manuscript of The Winning of Barbara Worth at the
